James W. Whalen — Executive Chairman at Targa Resources

He has 35 years of experience in finance and accounting. Mr. Whalen served as an Executive Chairman of Targa Resources GP LLC from December 15, 2010 to December 31, 2011. He served as an Executive Chairman of Targa Resources Corp. from October 25, 2010 to December 31, 2011. He has been Vice Chairman and Director of Parker Drilling Co. since October 2005. He serves as a Director of Targa Resources Partners LP. He has been a Director of Targa Resources GP LLC since February 8, 2007; Targa Resources Corp. since October 27, 2005 and TRI Resources Inc., since May 2004. He served as a Director at EQT Corporation from July 15, 2003 to May 14, 2010. Mr. Whalen holds a Bachelor's Degree in Finance from the University of Illinois and a Master's Degree in Finance from St. Louis University.
