Based on people with my position in other companies, people are getting paid $10,000-$20,000 more than I am.

Employees are overworked. Not ompensated for excessive work schedules . Heads are afraid to let the CEO know of the unhappiness
Peers in similar roles at other companies are making at least 20k/year more than I am, and most of them manage only 10% of the product assortment I oversee. When I received my most recent promotion, it was at the same time as merit raises. My combined raise was 11%, meaning my merit was only 1%.

What do your coworkers need to improve and how could you work together better?
More positivity and mutual collaboration. Need better communication on expectations. Feed back is welcome, but must be delivered respectfully.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
The most positive thing we have done is the Culture Committee that sends out newsletter to try to bring the employees together. Physically, we are still apart with people working at home some of the days and the remoteness of the office setting. The newsletter and events brings us together.

Too many secreta from the CEO. Needs a new HR that isnt passive.
More positive collaboration in the office. There is little to no "friendship" felt amongst coworkers. Could benefit from team bonding.
