The leadership needs to do its job and stop being lazy! Our managers get paid a lot more than us despite putting in very minimal effort.

What's going wrong and how can it be improved?
Lazy + toxic is a bad combination of qualities to have in a management. The leadership lacks vision and innovation. Employees have took working under management's outdated guidelines. And the worst part is that the managers refuse to listen to constructive feedback.
