He also worked with Caremark International Inc., where he served as Assistant Corporate Controller for five years and with PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP for nine years, where he held a number of positions with increasing levels of responsibility. He has been a Director of United States Cellular Corporation since September 2014. He is a certified public accountant (inactive). Mr. Shuma holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting Science from the University of Illinois, Urbana - Champaign, IL and received an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University
