Operator of electricity transmission system intended to ensure a reliable and uninterrupted supply of electricity. The company's high-voltage grid is connected to regional and local distribution grids managed by various other grid companies and allows for supply of both conventional and renewable enabling industrial and small-scale users and energy consumers acting as producers to benefit from uninterrupted supply of electricity.
TenneT was founded in 1998 and its current CEO is J.M. Kroon. Since its inception 28 years ago, TenneT has grown to 3000 employees.
