Mr. Andrea Serra has been Managing Director of Tactical Opportunities at The Blackstone Group L.P., since January 6, 2017. He is responsible for sourcing, evaluating, and executing investments opportunities, and is involved in the execution of the group's investments in Springcastle Holdings, Eletson Gas, B2R, and Ascenty. Mr. Serra is an Analyst at The Blackstone Group, Private Equity Group in the position of Analyst. Also, he is involved in Blackstone's investments in life settlements, non-performing mortgages, consumer loans, structured credit, and regulatory capital transactions. Prior to this, Mr. Serra was an Associate of Blackstone's Private Equity Group in London and New York, where he was involved in the execution of Blackstone's investments in Southern Cross, Orangina, Kl??ckner Pentaplast, PBF Energy and Vivint. Before joining Blackstone, Mr. Serra worked at Goldman Sachs in its Merger & Acquisitions Department in London. Mr. Serra serves on the Board of Directors of Eletson Gas and Viva Capital. Mr. Serra received a degree in Business Management from the Bocconi University, where he graduated magna cum laude and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
