Bilal A. Khan — Managing Director of Private Equity Group at The Blackstone Group

Mr. Bilal A. Khan has been Managing Director of Private Equity Group of The Blackstone Group L.P. since January 6, 2017. Mr. Khan is a Managing Director at The Blackstone Group, Private Equity Group since January 6, 2017. He was a Principal at the firm. Since joining Blackstone in 2009, Mr. Khan has been involved in the execution of several Blackstone investments. He served as an Associate at GTCR Golder Rauner, L.L.C, where he was involved with the analysis and execution of private equity investments in a wide range of industries. Mr. Khan joined in 2005 and specialized in the outsourced business services industry. Prior to GTCR, he worked in the investment banking industry as an Analyst in the power and energy mergers and acquisitions group at Lazard Fr??res & Co where he was focused on Power & Utilities clients. He serves as a Director of Fisterra Energy, PQ Energy, Sithe Global and Lonestar Generation. He served as a Director of Attock Refinery Limited since August 2011. He received an M.B.A. from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and an M.A. in International Studies from the University of Pennsylvania. Mr. Khan earned B.S. in Applied Economics from Cornell University, where he graduated magna cum laude.
