Mr. Brian Siegel serves as Managing Director of Hedge Fund Solutions Group at The Blackstone Group L.P. Mr. Siegel is also a Managing Director of the Hedge Fund Solutions Group at Blackstone Alternative Asset Management L.P. He is responsible for overseeing the operational aspects of the direct trading platforms within the hedge fund solutions group. Mr. Siegel joined the firm in 2014. He previously worked at Ziff Brothers Investments for 13 years, where he was the Director of Trading Operations. Mr. Siegel's oversight included ensuring the accuracy of the firm's books and records, securities lending, cash management and swaps and other derivatives financing. Additionally, he was responsible for managing the firm's prime broker relationships and other counterparties, such as the firm's fund accounting system and trade order management system. Mr. Siegel received a B.A. from Binghamton University with a dual degree in Economics and English.
