Chad Rustan Pike — Senior Managing Director and Vice Chairman of Tactical Opportunities at The Blackstone Group

Mr. Chad Rustan Pike serves as Senior Managing Director and Vice Chairman of Tactical Opportunities at The Blackstone Group L.P. Mr. Pike serves as the Head of Blackstone Tactical Opportunities Fund L.P. He serves as the Co-Head of Real Estate Opportunity Funds and Senior Managing Director at The Blackstone Group. Mr. Pike serves as the Senior Managing Director of Blackstone Europe of Blackstone Real Estate Advisors. He has been the Joint Head of Blackstone's property arm operation for 10 years. Since joining Blackstone in 1995, Mr. Pike has led BREP's acquisition of over 20 billion of assets in the United States, Europe and Asia. He led Blackstone's purchase of the Skanska Portfolio in Sweden, the Lumiere and Descartes Tower office properties in Paris and the Sanwa Loan Portfolio. Mr. Pike led Blackstone Real Estate's joint acquisition with Blackstone's Private Equity group of Spirit Group and NHP. Prior to joining Blackstone, he was an Analyst at the Morgan Stanley Real Estate Fund, where he was involved in the purchase of non-performing loan portfolios and distressed real estate operating companies. Mr. Pike has been a Director of NHP Ltd. since February 25, 2005. He serves on the Boards of Rothesay Life, Pluto Finance and the Valad European Diversified Fund. Mr. Pike serves as a Director of ABC Hotels, WCM, Residential and the Spirit Group. He served as a Director of Rothesay Holdco UK Limited until May 20, 2016. Mr. Pike is also a Board Member of the National Fish and Wildlife Foundation and is a Board Member of the North Atlantic Salmon Fund. He was named Entrepreneur of the Year at the 2012 Property Awards. Mr. Pike received a B.A. degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where he graduated with honors.
