Christopher Placca — Managing Director of Private Equity Group at The Blackstone Group

Mr. Christopher Placca, also known as Chris serves as Managing Director at The Blackstone Group, Private Equity Group since January 15, 2016 and served as its Senior Vice President. Mr. Placca has been Managing Director of Private Equity at The Blackstone Group L.P., since January 15, 2016 and served as its Senior Vice President of Private Equity. Since joining Blackstone, Mr. Placca has been involved in administrative, accounting, tax and financial reporting matters for Blackstone's private equity funds. Mr. Placca joined Blackstone in 2010. Prior to that, he served as the U.S. Controller at Apax Partners, L.P. At Apax, he was primarily involved in fund management, administration and financial reporting for its U.S. private equity funds as well as financial reporting and daily operations for the U.S. management Company. He served as a Vice President at CCMP Capital Advisors, LP (alternate name: CCMP Capital Advisors, LLC). He was involved in deal execution, funds administration and operational issues. Prior to joining JPMP in 2000, he served as a Portfolio Accountant at Deutshe Bank and a Compliance Administrator at Merrill Lynch, Pierce, Fenner & Smith Inc. Mr. Placca received a B.S. in Business Administration from Rider University.
