Christopher Striano — Senior Managing Director of Private Equity Group at The Blackstone Group

Mr. Christopher Striano has been a Senior Managing Director of Private Equity Group at The Blackstone Group L.P. since January 6, 2017. Mr. Striano serves as the Senior Managing Director and Chief Financial Officer at The Blackstone Group, Private Equity Group and the Tactical Opportunity group. Mr. Striano has had overall responsibility for the fund accounting, tax and financial reporting for the Blackstone private equity and tactical opportunity funds. In addition to the financial aspects, Mr. Striano focuses on portfolio company analytics including valuations, Limited Partner relations and marketing support and Financial Planning. Since joining Blackstone in 1998, Mr. Striano has worked with in various groups in Financial Services and is involved in strategic planning projects including the firm's IPO, Ratings Process and served as Head of the Firm's Financial Planning and Analysis Group. His responsibilities included the firm's global forecast process, business unit and firm-wide strategic planning, Managing Ratings Agency Relationships, New Business Initiatives and various special projects. Mr. Striano received a B.S. in Accounting and a minor in Finance from St. John's University.
