Mr. Craig Newman is Managing Director of Real Estate group at Blackstone Group L.P. since January 2018. Before joining Blackstone Mr. Newman was the Fund Manager for a wholesale office fund with Charter Hall and, prior to that, the Head of Asset Management for the group's Office and Industrial portfolios. Before Charter Hall, Mr. Newman was a Division Director and Head of Portfolio Management with Macquarie Group where he was involved in the asset management of property portfolios located in Australia, Europe and Japan. He was Fund Manager of Core Plus Office Fund. Mr. Newman received a Bachelor of Business (Property) from RMIT University and is an Associate member of the Australian Property Institute.
