Executive Bio

Mr. Frank Barbara serves as Senior Vice President of Treasury Group at The Blackstone Group L.P. Since joining Blackstone, Mr. Barbara has served as the Special Projects Manager for Treasury and has been involved in the Treasury reengineering project including the selection and implementation of the Wall Street Suite Treasury Management System. Mr. Barbara is involved in the international expansion of the firm's Treasury function. Before joining Blackstone in 2010, Mr. Barbara worked at Bank of New York Mellon in the Hedge Fund Administration area where he served as a Director of Service Delivery Operations, responsible for all aspects of financial control and reengineering of operational processes. Mr. Barbara also served as the Vice President of iCapital Markets, the execution arm for Datek Online Holding Corporation and had other previous finance and operations roles with UBS, Prudential, Citibank and TDwaterhouse. Mr. Barbara received BA in Economics from Rutgers University and has previously achieved Series 7, 24, 55, 63 and 65 certifications.
