Gregory Geiling — Senior Managing Director at The Blackstone Group

Mr. Gregory Geiling, also known as Greg, serves as Senior Managing Director at The Blackstone Group L.P. Mr. Geiling serves as the Head of the Hedge Fund Solutions Special Situations Investing Group and Senior Managing Director at Blackstone Alternative Asset Management L.P. He is involved in hedge fund manager evaluation, selection and monitoring. He joined the firm in 2011. He was previously a Portfolio Manager at Duquesne Capital Management, overseeing investments in the technology, media and telecom sectors. He started his career in the equity research department at J.P. Morgan, where he was responsible for several technology industry segments including wireline equipment, wireless equipment and data networking. He was ranked each year from 1997 to 2002 on the Institutional Investor All-American Research Team for his coverage of several technology sectors including being ranked the #1 analyst on Wall Street covering the telecommunications equipment industry. Mr. Geiling holds a B.S. in Finance from Lehigh University.
