Gregory R. Blank — Managing Director of Infrastructure Group at The Blackstone Group

Mr. Gregory R. Blank, also known as Greg, serves as a Managing Director of the Infrastructure Group at The Blackstone Group L.P. He focuses on investments in the Communications sector. Previously he served as a Managing Director at The Blackstone Group L.P. and The Blackstone Group, Private Equity Group. Mr. Blank was part of the Corporate Private Equity Group and focused primarily on investments in the technology, media and telecommunications and industrials sectors in United States, Germany, Asia and Australia/New Zealand. He has been involved in the execution of Blackstone investments. Mr. Blank had been involved in the evaluation and execution of private equity transactions in a variety of industries and across geographies, including in the United States, Germany, Asia and Australia/New Zealand since joining Blackstone in 2009. He served as Principal of The Blackstone Group, Private Equity Group and The Blackstone Group L.P. Prior to joining Blackstone, he served as an Associate of Texas Pacific Group and was involved in the evaluation and execution of private equity transactions. Mr. Blank had been worked in investment banking at Goldman, Sachs & Co., focused on technology, media and telecommunications clients. He served as an Advisor of WindMW GmbH. He has been a Director of Optiv Inc. since October 2014. He has been a Director of NCR Corporation since December 4, 2015. Mr. Blank serves as a Director of Meerwind Offshore Wind (Germany), Kronos, Ipreo, The Weather Channel and Antares Restaurant Group. He served as a Director of Optiv Security Inc., since October 2014. He served as a Director of Travelport Limited from May 1, 2013 to July 15, 2016. He served as an Independent Director of Travelport Worldwide Limited from May 2013 to July 15, 2016. Mr. Blank has significant financial and investment experience. He holds an M.B.A. with High Distinction from the Harvard Business School, where he graduated as a Baker Scholar. Mr. Blank holds an A.B. in Economics from Harvard College, where he graduated magna cum laude.
