Ilan Sender — Managing Director of Hedge Fund Solutions Group at The Blackstone Group

Mr. Ilan Sender serves as Managing Director of Hedge Fund Solutions Group at The Blackstone Group L.P. Since joining Blackstone in 2015, Mr. Sender has been involved in equity hedge fund manager evaluation, selection and monitoring as well as analyzing individual equity transactions. Before joining Blackstone, he worked at several hedge funds, primarily in the long-short equity and event-driven space. He served as Managing Director at Claar Advisors. Previously, he served as a Senior Analyst at Owl Creek Asset Management. Mr. Sender received a BSE in Computer Science from Princeton University, where he graduated with high distinction and was elected to the Tau Beta Pi and Sigma Xi Engineering honor societies. He graduated with an MBA from Harvard Business School where he was a Baker Scholar.
