Jasvinder Khaira — Senior Managing Director of Tactical Opportunities Group at The Blackstone Group

Mr. Jasvinder S. Khaira, also known as Jas, has been Senior Managing Director of Tactical Opportunities Group at The Blackstone Group L.P. since January 6, 2017. Mr. Khaira serves as the Managing Director at The Blackstone Group, Private Equity Group and served as its Analyst. Mr. Khaira serves as the Managing Director of Blackstone Tactical Opportunities Fund L.P. and served as its Principal. He serves as Senior Managing Director of Blackstone Tactical Opportunities Advisors L.L.C. Mr. Khaira was a member of Blackstone's Private Equity Group since 2004 and GSO Capital Partners. He has been involved in the execution of Blackstone's investments in Global Tower, Michael Stores, Wireless Capital Partners, Locuspoint, Springcastle Holdings, Eletson Gas, B2R, Phoenix Towers, T4U Holding Brasil, Pretium Resources and Stornoway Diamond. In addition, he is involved in Blackstone's investments in non-performing loans, structured credit and regulatory capital transactions. Mr. Khaira has been involved in a variety of strategic Blackstone business initiatives and special projects, including, the firm's initial public offering and acquisition of GSO Capital in 2008. He was also employed at GSO Capital Partners. He serves as a Director of Hafnia Tankers Ltd. He has been Director of GP Natural Resource Partners LLC since March 2, 2017. Mr. Khaira received a B.S. in Business Administration and a B.A. in History from the University of California, Berkeley, where he graduated Magna Cum Laude and was elected to Phi Beta Kappa.
