Jonathan D. Gray — Global Head of Real Estate and Director of Blackstone Group Management LLC at The Blackstone Group

Mr. Jonathan D. Gray, also known as Jon, serves as Global Head of Real Estate at Blackstone Mortgage Trust, Inc. Mr. Gray serves as a Senior Managing Director and Head of Global Real Estate at Blackstone Real Estate Advisors and Blackstone Real Estate Partners VII, L.P. Mr. Gray serves as the President of Boca Resorts, Inc. He has been the Global Head of Real Estate at The Blackstone Group L.P. since January 2012. He served as Senior Managing Director of The Blackstone Group L.P. until September 16, 2016 and previously from 2000 to 2005 and Co-Head of Real Estate Opportunity Funds since 2005. Since joining Blackstone Group in 1992, Mr. Gray has led the privatization of public real estate companies and has helped build the real estate platform. Mr. Gray has been the Chairman of Hilton Worldwide Holdings Inc. since March 2010 and its Director since 2007. He serves as Chairman of Extended Stay Hotels and Harlem Village Academies. Mr. Gray serves as Chairman of the Board of The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas. Mr. Gray has been a Director of Invitation Homes Inc. since January 2017. Mr. Gray has been a Director of Nevada Property 1 LLC since December 2014. He has been a Director of Blackstone Group Management LLC since February 24, 2012. Mr. Gray is a Director of Trinity Episcopal School Corp. and Boca Resorts, Inc. He serves on the Board of Directors of The Savoy Group and Homestead Studio Suites. He serves on the board of Trinity School. He is a Board Member of the Pension Real Estate Association and NAREIT. Mr. Gray served as a Director of La Quinta Holdings Inc. from February 2014 to November 25, 2014 and Lodgian Inc. from November 25, 2002 to September 15, 2004. He served as a Director of Brixmor Property Group Inc. from 2013 to November 11, 2016. He has established the Basser Research Center at the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine. Mr. Gray holds a B.S. in Economics from the Wharton School and a B.A., Magna Cum Laude, in English from the College of Arts and Sciences of the University of Pennsylvania, where he was elected to Phi Beta Kappa.
