Joseph DeSalvo — Chief Physical Security Officer and Senior Vice President at The Blackstone Group

Mr. Joseph DeSalvo serves as the Chief Physical Security Officer and Senior Vice President of The Blackstone Group L.P. Mr. DeSalvo served as Chief Security Officer and Senior Vice President of Iron Mountain Inc. since January 11, 2007. Mr. DeSalvo served as a FBI Special Agent and held senior executive roles at Charles Schwab & Co., as Chief Security Officer and at Bankers Trust Company, as Vice President of Corporate Security. He is directly responsible for all aspects of corporate security and safety, fraud prevention, information security, crisis management and disaster recovery programs. Mr. DeSalvo has 20 years of experience in corporate security and investigative services. Mr. DeSalvo has been a Member of Technology Advisory Board at Resilient, an IBM Company since February 2013. Mr. DeSalvo earned his Masters of Business Administration degree from the University of Hartford and a Bachelor of Arts Degree from the State University of New York at Plattsburgh.
