Kristopher Weiner — Managing Director of Hedge Fund Solutions Group at The Blackstone Group

Mr. Kristopher Weiner serves as Managing Director of Hedge Fund Solutions Group at The Blackstone Group L.P. Mr. Weiner is also a Managing Director of the Hedge Fund Solutions Group at Blackstone Alternative Asset Management L.P. He is a member of the hedge fund solutions special situations investing group. Mr. Weiner was previously employed at Waterfront Capital Partners, where he was a Sector Head specializing in consumer equities. Prior to this, he was a Partner and Senior Analyst at Avesta Capital Advisors. During his time at the firm, Mr. Weiner was responsible for leading the research efforts within the consumer discretionary universe. He joined the firm in 2002. Mr. Weiner has also worked at Moore Capital Management and Putnam Investments. He received a B.A. Cum Laude, with distinction in the major in History from Yale University.
