Mr. Nigel Spencer serves as Managing Director of Hedge Fund Solutions Group at The Blackstone Group L.P. Mr. Spencer is also a Managing Director of the Hedge Fund Solutions Group at Blackstone Alternative Asset Management L.P. He is involved in the design and development of the hedge fund solutions group's proprietary software systems, which support all aspects of the group's operations. Mr. Spencer joined the firm in 2012. Previously, he worked as a Senior Technical Consultant at Lab49, developing software for the hedge fund solutions group. Prior to this, Mr. Spencer worked as an independent Software Consultant at Viterra developing highly-distributed, real-time software solutions to support the company's agricultural business. He also worked as a Development Team Leader at Infor within the firm's Australian public sector solutions group. In that role, Mr. Spencer led a development team responsible for building key infrastructure utilized in the redevelopment of their public sector solutions software. He graduated with a B.Sc. in Computer Science from the University of South Australia.
