Executive Bio
Mr. Peter Song serves as Managing Director, Chief Operating Officer of Strategic Partners and General Counsel of Strategic Partners at The Blackstone Group L.P. Mr. Song focuses on transactional and operational management, oversees all client reporting and all legal activities related to the secondary business. He sits on the Investment Committee for each of the Strategic Partners Funds. Before joining Strategic Partners in 2000, Mr. Song worked in the corporate groups of Fried, Frank, Harris, Shriver & Jacobson and Kramer Levin Naftalis & Frankel LLP, both in New York. Mr. Song received a B.A. with honors, in Political Science from the University of Chicago in 1991 and a J.D. from Indiana University School of Law in 1995.
