Mr. Sean T. Klimczak serves as a Senior Managing Director of Private Equity Group and Global Head of Infrastructure Business at The Blackstone Group L.P. He is a Senior Managing Director and Global Head of Infrastructure at The Blackstone Group, Private Equity Group. Mr. Klimczak serves as an Advisor of WindMW GmbH. He is a Principal in the Corporate Private Equity group. He serves as a Manager of Sabine Pass Liquefaction, LLC. Since joining The Blackstone Group in 2005, he has been involved in analyzing investments in various industries. He served as a Senior Managing Director at Cheniere Energy Partners GP, LLC. He served as Senior Managing Director of The Blackstone Group L.P. and The Blackstone Group, Private Equity Group. Since joining Blackstone in 2005, Mr. Klimczak has been involved in the execution of several Blackstone investments. He is responsible for investments in the power sector with a focus on power generation, natural resources and transmission. He served as an Associate at Madison Dearborn Partners, LLC, where he was involved with the analysis and execution of domestic and international private equity investments in a wide range of industries. Prior to that, He worked in the Mergers and Acquisitions department at Morgan Stanley & Company's Investment Banking Division. He was employed at Morgan Stanley. He has been a Member of Park Advisory Board at Universal City Development Partners Ltd. since March 2008. He also serves as a member of the Board of Trustees of Saint Mary's College and as a member of the University of Notre Dame Mendoza College of Business Advisory Council. He serves as a Director of American Petroleum Tankers GP LLC, The Weather Channel, Universal Orlando, Fisterra, PQ Energy, Sithe Global Power, LLC, Utility One Source, Forest Systems, Meerwind, Transmission Developers Inc., American Petroleum Tankers Parent LLC, US Shipping Product Investor and The Blackstone Charitable Foundation. He served as a Director at Cheniere Energy Partners Gp, Llc, a General Partner of Cheniere Energy Partners, LLC from 2012 to August 14, 2017. He was named a World Economic Forum Young Global Leader in 2015. He earned an M.B.A. with High Distinction from the Harvard Business School, where he graduated as a Baker Scholar, a John L. Loeb Fellow, a Henry Ford II Scholar and a William J. Carey Scholar. Mr. Klimczak received a B.B.A. in Finance and Business Economics from the University of Notre Dame, where he graduated summa cum laude and was elected to Beta Gamma Sigma.
