Stephen Buehler CPA — Managing Director of Hedge Fund Solutions Group at The Blackstone Group

Mr. Stephen Buehler, CPA serves as Managing Director of the Hedge Fund Solutions Group at The Blackstone Group L.P. Mr. Buehler serves as Managing Director of the Hedge Fund Solutions Group and the Chief Operating Officer of Individual Investor Solutions at Blackstone Alternative Asset Management L.P. and was previously the Chief Operating Officer of Individual Investor Solutions. In this role, he helps lead the individual investor solutions initiative, including the development, structuring and operation of regulated investment fund solutions and all strategic business development initiatives. Mr. Buehler performed due diligence and monitoring procedures on the hedge fund solutions group exists and prospective underlying hedge fund investments from a business and financial perspective. In addition, he assisted the firm's senior management team identify and implement strategic growth plans and best practices. Mr. Buehler joined the firm in 2010. Previously, he worked at Merrill Lynch as a Relationship Manager for the firm's hedge fund clients. Prior to this, Mr. Buehler was a Senior Manager at KPMG's assurance practice. He holds the Certified Public Accountant designation. Mr. Buehler received a Bachelor of Accountancy and Bachelor of Business Administration from Mississippi State University, where he graduated summa cum laude. He also received an M.B.A. from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.
