Executive Bio

Mr. Christopher De Rosa, also known as Chris, has been the President of Western Region at Cigna Health Corporation since March 2011. Mr. Rosa served as Regional Vice President of West Segment at CIGNA Corporation since March 15, 2011. Mr. Rosa served as President and General Manager for Southern California Region at CIGNA Health Corporation since January 2006. Mr. Rosa was responsible for middle market sales, growth and client service at CIGNA. He served as senior vice president of CIGNA's Government and Taft-Hartley segment business. He has more than 20 years of health care industry expertise. Mr. Rosa has in-depth knowledge of Southern California and extensive sales experience. Mr. Rosa began his career with CIGNA in 1992 in California, managing several key accounts, such as Intel, Cisco, Fluor and Boeing and establishing strong working relationships with producers and providers in the marketplace. In his most recent role, he was responsible for establishing CIGNA's Government and Taft-Hartley business unit, where he led the development and implementation of health plan benefit strategies for Taft-Hartley trusts and the public sector. Mr. Rosa has a bachelor's degree from the University of California, Los Angeles and a Master's of Business Administration from the University of California, Irvine.
