Executive Bio
Mr. Edward Kim, also known as Ed, has been the President and General Manager of Arizona Health Plans at Cigna Corp. since November 2013. Mr. Kim serves as the President of Cigna Medical Group at Cigna Corp. His additional responsibilities include enhancing customer satisfaction through personalized service and helping to improve quality of care by working in collaboration with area health care professionals. Mr. Kim is a senior health care executive with over 25 years of experience in complex service delivery markets, his background includes managed care, physician practice management and health care consulting. Prior to joining Cigna in 2011, he served as the President of Molina Medical Group in California and subsequently expanded his role to drive national expansion of direct delivery of medical services as corporate vice president at Molina Healthcare. He serves on the board of directors for the Boys and Girls Club Metro Phoenix and the Partners in Care Foundation. Mr. Kim graduated with a Master of Health Science from the Johns Hopkins (Bloomberg) School of Public Health and earned a Bachelor of Arts from the University of California Berkeley.
