Mr. Howard Gough has been Chief Executive Officer of the Middle East & North Africa Region and Chief Executive Officer of GIPMI & Global Government Segment at Cigna Corporation since October 2015. Mr. Gough served as Global Head of Distribution at Vielife Limited (Vielife Holdings Ltd.). He previously managed the Middle East and Asia-Pacific region for Cigna Global Health Benefits, based out of Shanghai. Mr. Gough served as the US Commercial Director of Vielife Limited. His career began from Forrester Boyd Chartered Accountants in UK (Part of the International Moores Rowland Group). He built management consultancy practice for firm advising SME sector until 1994. Mr. Gough joined leadership team of one of clients he advised - graphic design and marketing agency. In 1997, Mr. Gough set up consultancy advising blue chip clients (Including Highland Distillers, Interbrew and United Biscuits) in new digital age. Mr. Gough joined vielife in 2000. His roles at vielife included - Product Management, Branding, Sales, Channel Development and US expansion. He is a Chartered Accountant.
