Executive Bio
Dr. James Edwards has been the Chief Chiropractic & Compliance Officer of The Joint Corp. since July 2015. Currently, Dr. Edwards is a representative assemblyman for the State of Texas to the International Chiropractors Association (ICA). Dr. Edwards serves as a Member of Advisory Board of Yext, Inc. Dr. Edwards has been in the chiropractic industry since 1977. Dr. Edwards was President of the American Chiropractic Foundation from 2001 to 2003 and was Chairman of the Board of Governors of the American Chiropractic Association (ACA). Dr. Edwards was the chairman of the ACA-PAC and the National Chiropractic Legal Action Fund. He was also a Treasurer for the ACA and its District VI Regional Governor. He has been a delegate from the State of Kansas to the National Board of Chiropractic Examiners as well as the Federation of Chiropractic Licensing Boards. Dr. Edwards was named Kansas Chiropractic Association Doctor of the Year in 1991, national Doctor of the Year by Dynamic Chiropractic in 2000 and American Chiropractic Association Chiropractor of the Year in 2004.
