Executive Bio

George J. Marcin serves as Senior Vice President of Tenant Interiors for Corporate Office Properties Trust (Alternative Name is Royale Investments Inc.). Mr. Marcin served as Senior Vice President, Interiors for COPT Development & Construction Services, LLC, a division of Corporate Office Properties Trust (COPT). He is responsible for all activities associated with our interiors planning, design and construction in the existing portfolio and new developments. His responsibilities include direct management of key government projects including design and construction. He has supervised the construction management of more than six million square feet of interior construction in suburban office buildings, historical renovations, retail shopping centers, SCIF and Tempest secured office environments, data centers and electrical and security systems. He has more than 30 years of progressive experience in contract management and the construction of office buildings, warehouses, interior construction, residential development, fossil powered generating stations, roads and infrastructure. From 1984 to 1998, he served various positions with Constellation Real Estate including project manager and Director of Interior Construction. He was associated with Baltimore Gas and Electric Compan as a Cost Control Analyst. He served as Vice President of Interior Construction & Renovation for COPT Development & Construction Services, LLC. He is an active member in the Maryland Chapter of NAIOP. He majored in Liberal Arts at the University of Maryland, Baltimore County, completed contract law and drafting course work at Catonsville Community College, and business administration course work at Towson State University.
