Executive Bio

Ms. Stephanie L. Shack serves as Assistant Secretary at Corporate Office Properties Trust and has been its Associate General Counsel since 2004 and serves as its Senior Vice President. Ms. Shack served as Vice President at Corporate Office Properties Trust since 2007. She negotiates leases, sales contracts, financing documents and other legal instruments involving Corporate Office Properties Trust. She joined Corporate Office Properties Trust in 2001 as Senior Counsel. Ms. Shack clerked for the Honorable John E. Dougherty in the United States District Court for the Northern District of Georgia from 1995 to 1997. After her clerkship ended, Ms. Shack worked with the law firm of Piper, Marbury Rudnick & Wolfe (now DLA Piper US LLP), where she served as an Associate until April 2000. From April 2000 to June 2001, she served as Associate Counsel with The Johns Hopkins Health System Corporation. She participates in several civic organizations including CREW-Baltimore and is a Member of the Board of Directors for The Women's Industrial Exchange and the Board of Trustees for the Columbia Festival of the Arts. She is a Member of the Maryland, Georgia and DC State Bars and the American Bar Association. Ms. Shack graduated with honors with a BA in Psychology from Washington University in St. Louis and obtained her Law degree with distinction from Emory University School of Law.
