Mr. Jon C. Kubo has been the Chief Digital Officer at Tilly's, Inc. since August 15, 2016. Mr. Kubo oversees e-commerce and digital marketing to define a long-term vision for the Tilly's digital commerce efforts and create consistency in digital consumer experiences across all interaction points. He served as Chief Digital Officer at Boot Barn Holdings, Inc. since May 2015. Mr. Kubo served as the Chief Digital Officer and Executive Vice President at Seal123, Inc. (alternate name, The Wet Seal, LLC) from October 6, 2014 to May 2015. He served as the Chief Product Officer of 8thBridge, Inc. from October 3, 2011 to October 2014. Mr. Kubo was responsible for product strategy at 8thBridge. Mr. Kubo served as the Chief Information Officer at Seal123, Inc. from March 2005 to July 28, 2011 and served as its Senior Vice President of E-Commerce from August 2010 to July 28, 2011 and Vice President since March 2005. He also served as Head of Ecommerce for both brands. Mr. Kubo served as Senior Vice President and Chief Technology Officer of RightStart.com since December 2000 and also served as Senior Vice President and Chief Technology Officer of RightStart.com since April 2000. He served as an Executive Vice President and Chief Administrative Officer of FAO Schwarz from March 2004 to February 2005 and Senior Vice President and Chief Information Officer of FAO, Inc. from May 2000 to March 2004. At FAO Schwarz, he led the launch of their online presence, catalog and relaunch of their retail stores. From July 1999 to April 2000, Mr. Kubo served as Chief Technology Officer of GoodHome.com, which he co-founded. From July 1998 to June 1999, Mr. Kubo served as Director of Home Design Content for Broderbund which was acquired by The Learning Company in August 1998. From February 1996 to July 1998, Mr. Kubo served as General Manager of the Creative Images Technologies Division of Autodesk, Inc. which developed home remodeling/decorating CAD software products. From May 1993 to January 1996, he served as President of Creative Images Technologies, Inc., a company he co-founded to develop CAD software and provide content creation facilities for the residential and commercial interior design industry and which was sold to Autodesk, Inc. Mr. Kubo served as an Executive Director at Children S Books & Toys Inc. In June 2011, Mr. Kubo was awarded The 2011 RIS Retail CIO of the Year for implementing mobile and social strategies for Seal123, Inc. He was also named the CIO of the Year in 2010 by Oracle. Mr. Kubo earned a bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering from the U.S. Naval Academy, a Master's degree in Engineering from California State University at Fullerton and an MBA from the Peter Drucker Institute at Claremont Graduate University.
