Mr. Richard M. Boyer serves as Vice President of Operations at The Timken Company and served as its vice president of manufacturing since August 2012. Mr. Boyer joined Timken in 1984 as an Associate Engineer and assumed Engineering positions of increasing responsibility in its technology function and manufacturing operations. He held positions in business development, operations and supply chain for Timken's Steel segment. Mr. Boyer served as Vice President of Manufacturing at QM Bearings and Power Transmission, Inc. He served as Director of Manufacturing for small-bore tapered roller bearings since 2007. He serves on the Board of Junior Achievement of North Central Ohio. He earned a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from The Ohio State University, a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering from The University of Akron and an MBA from Kent State University.
