Kenneth J. Matson — President of Family Heritage Life Insurance Co. of America & CEO - FHL Agency Div of Family Heritage at Torchmark Corporation

Mr. Kenneth J. Matson, also known as Ken, has been President of Family Heritage Life Insurance Company of America at Torchmark Corporation since March 2014 and has been Chief Executive Officer of FHL Agency Division of Family Heritage since January 2017. Mr. Matson has been the President at Family Heritage Life Insurance Company Of America since April 2014. Mr. Matson served as an Executive Vice President at Family Heritage Life Insurance Company Of America since November 2012 until April 2014. Mr. Matson served as President of Family Heritage Marketing Corporation, an affiliate of Family Heritage Life Insurance Company Of America since 1990 until November 2012. Mr. Matson has spent his entire career with Family Heritage building people as they have helped build Family Heritage. He began as a Sales Agent in 1991 and subsequently ran sales administration until 1996 when he was appointed Chief of Staff. Mr. Matson was promoted to senior leadership as a Vice President in 2001 where he effectively led the Eastern Sales Division of FHMC. Mr. Matson first became connected to Family Heritage as multi-year intern with its parent company, The Southwestern Company while in college. He completed his undergraduate work in psychology with a management minor from Hamline University in St. Paul, MN.
