Letting employees do the jobs they were hired to do. Learn some trust.
What is the best part about your compensation package?
Healthcare was 100% paid by Travelzoo
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
Bonuses for high performers are essential
No performance-linked bonuses (except for Sales and General Managers), and no connection between individual goals/objectives and company strategy (because there is no strategy) mean that everyone is pulling in different directions so you don't get recognized for your contributions
What are some of the best things about your team?
The care they put into their work
Really intelligent, hardworking, and passionate people who somehow manage to keep rising above the, most avoidable, challenges and problems the company creates for itself.

What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
The coworkers are good but management is an atrocity
Open door, accepting of all cultures, sexual preferences, ethnicities, ages, style and more. Everyone's voice is heard.
Everyone mostly loves what they do and really wants to be successful.
What needs to change to make the company culture better?

What did you like most about the interview process?
The rounds of interviews were more conversations than interrogations
Saki-Bombs! But seriously, I loved that I was interviewed directly by Ralph and Holger Bartel.
The HR team kept me well informed and were prompt to move things along through the interview stages.

We need better and more innovative upper management and more innovative marketing
