When this data is sent to Trulia, it creates an off market property page containing the public record information. This data is regularly updated automatically as we receive it from these data providers.
Secondly, an off market property page can be generated after a previously active listing posted by an agent or homeowner has been taken off market. This type of property page does not include public record information since it was user created. These pages typically host less information about the home.

Experian cannot match your personal information (name, social security number, current address) to any records because either the information provided is wrong, or there is no file match.
The answers to authentication questions are incorrect.
Your account is frozen with Experian.
If you are receiving a message that we were unable to verify your identity and you believe that it is an error, please try the following troubleshooting steps:
Enter your full legal name, not a nickname or abbreviated version of your name (example: enter Jennifer vs. Jenn).
Double check your address and zip code. If you haven't been living at your new address for long, try using a previous address.
Although social security number is not required, try entering your social security number as an added method of verification.
If you're entering all the information correctly, but still cannot ID verify, contact Experian.

Weve combined the information within both Zillow and Trulia profiles, including past sales and client reviews, to provide a single, complete profile that agents only need to edit once to display updated information across both sites.
Editing your profile
Where do I go to edit my profile?Use your Zillow profile to make any changes or additions to your information; these include updating your bio, requesting client reviews and adding past sales. Any edits you make on your Zillow profile will also appear on Trulia.
My Trulia profilewon'tlet me make edits. Why?When your profile details were merged across the two sites, your Trulia profile became linked to your Zillow profile to provide simpler, streamlined profile management. Edits to your Zillow profile will apply across both sites, so you only need to manage one profile.
Reviews
Whywon'tZillow accept my Trulia reviews?Zillow has strict review requirements that differ from Trulias. All Zillow reviews are carefully screened for authenticity, vetted for helpfulness and approved by Zillow staff. In transferring over your Trulia reviews, Zillow filters out all reviews that do not meet this criteria.
Profile information
Do I get to choose what details you keep on my new profile(s)?We will merge your profile information to provide a complete record of past sales and client reviews. Well keep the Zillow profile details, so if you prefer the information on your Trulia profile youll need to add it to your Zillow profile.
Whycan'tmy Trulia badges also appear on Zillow?Zillow does not issue profile badges; this is a unique feature to Trulia. There are no changes to your Trulia badges during this transition.
Using a new profile
I didnt have a Zillow profile before and now I have one. How do I log in?We will auto-create your Zillow profile and send you an email to create your password. Simply click this link and set your password; your profile will be populated with your Trulia information.
What if I only want a profile on one site? By appearing on both Zillow and Trulia, you maximize your exposure to buyers and sellers while only maintaining a single profile.
Changes to advertising
Weve expanded Zillow Groups Premier Agent program across Zillow and Trulia websites and mobile apps. Existing advertisers will retain the same monthly spend as when the programs were separate, but will also have an opportunity to increase their exposure should they wish to do so and will benefit from the convenience of a single monthly bill.
Trulia products
Advertisers previously using Trulia Local Ads and Trulia Mobile Ads will now be converted to Zillow Premier Agents and appear across both sites and mobile apps; agents can no longer purchase Trulia Local Ads or Trulia Mobile Ads.
There are no changes to Trulia Seller Ads or Trulia Pro subscriptions.
Zillow products
Premier Agent advertisers will now appear across Zillow and Trulia, enabling them to connect with two unique audiences of active home shoppers.
There are no changes to Zillow Foreclosure Ads, Premier Agent Video Ads or additional purchased featured listings.
Program changes
How is Premier Agent different than my advertising on Trulia? Premier Agent is similar to Trulia Local Ads and Trulia Mobile Ads, in that it is a geo-targeted advertising product that helps you get in front of buyers and sellers in your market. Premier Agent differs slightly in that mobile is included, rather than sold separately.
What if I just want to be on one site?The Premier Agent experience is the same across both sites to ensure that the contacts you receive from Trulia are just as good as those you receive from Zillow and vice versa. Both sites attract active home shoppers; 60 percent of total visitors to both Zillow and Trulia are in the market to buy or sell within a year.
Can I just buy mobile ads like I did with Trulia? Mobile is included as part of Premier Agent advertising.
If Idon'twant mobile, do I just get a discount?Since more consumers today view homes on mobile than on desktop, mobile is a core part of the Premier Agent offering and is not sold separately.
Managing contacts
All Premier Agent contacts received across Zillow and Trulia can be viewed in a central location, making it easier to respond to contacts and track your ROI.
Where do I go to manage my contacts from Trulia? All Premier Agent contacts from both Zillow and Trulia will route into Zillows Agent Hub. Log in to your Zillow profile and view the Contacts tab to see your contacts.
If you have a CRM, activate Zillow Tech Connect to ensure your contacts from both Zillow and Trulia flow directly and automatically into your preferred CRM. We partner with more than 55 different CRM providers; if yoursisn'ton the list, email [email protected].
Tech Connect
I use Tech Connect; will my Trulia contacts flow into this as well? Yes, ifyou'veactivated Tech Connect, all Premier Agent contacts across Zillow and Trulia will flow automatically into your preferred CRM. Note, Tech Connect does not yet include Trulia Pro or Trulia Seller Ads.
How do I connect Tech Connect with Trulia?If you had already set up Tech Connect for Zillow, we automatically connected contacts from Trulia when we merged your profile. If youre setting up Tech Connect for the first time, log in to your Zillow profile and under Contacts, select Connect to My CRM. This will route all Premier Agent contacts across Zillow and Trulia into your CRM.
Whyaren'tI seeing my Trulia Pro/Trulia Seller Ads contacts in the Zillow Agent Hub?Trulia Pro and Trulia Seller Adsdon'trun across Zillow and Trulia, so youwon'tbe able to see these in the Zillow Agent Hub. Premier Agents and their co-marketing lenders appear across both Zillow and Trulia in every ZIP code in which the agent advertises. Additional invitations or contributions can be managed independently through a self-serve interface in Zillows Agent Hub, and any changes apply to both sites.

Do I have a separate salesperson/account manager for each brand?No, youll work with just one dedicated account manager to purchase Premier Agent advertising, saving you valuable time.
How does my monthly bill work? For Premier Agent, youll be billed by Zillow Group once per month and only for impressions served up to your monthly budget.

How do rental listing scams work? What is Trulia doing to remove fraud? How can I spot and avoid rental scams? What can I do if I fall victim of online fraud?
How Do Rental Listing Scams Work?
Is someone asking you to send them money via Western Union, Moneygram, or Prepaid Visa card? Have the owners moved to another state andcan'tshow you the property? Found a deal that's too good to turn down? These are possible signs of rental listing scams used to defraud users into wiring money or giving up personal information.
Scammers use a variety of tools and methods to post fraudulent listings on many internet listing sites. One method includes manually listing available properties by copying existing listings and posting them with new prices. They also take existing for-sale properties and post it as a rental listing. Lastly, they use listing management tools and syndicate the fraud across many different sites.
Once you've contacted a scammer, they usually ask for a few things -- information, urgency, and money through Western Union,Moneygram, or a Prepaid Visa card. Stop there. Flag the listing on Trulia beneath the title and property address and continue your search.
What is Trulia Doing to Remove Fraud?
At Trulia, we understand how important it is to have a higher standard of excellence in eliminating fraud. Thus, we have taken immediate action and continue to enhance our process in order to improve our listing quality and eliminate fraud. Although some fraudulent listings can make it through our fraud filters, many scams are detected before being displayed. While we need to keep the specifics of our initiatives confidential in order to outsmart scammers, weve listed some of our public initiatives here:
Trulia has an entire team dedicated to reviewing rental properties and double checking listing feeds.
There is an automated algorithm that scores listings based on historical data and removes listings most likely to be fraudulent.
New accounts and listings are verified to have a valid U.S. phone number and IP address.
In some regions, Trulia has begun to accept verified listing sources only and eliminated single property submissions.
Fraud warnings are placed on each property detail page and throughout Trulia to educate consumers about possible warnings.
Every time a lead is sent to a landlord or property manager, both parties receive a confirmation email pointing to information about possible listing fraud.
Properties that are flagged as fraudulent on Trulia are reviewed by Trulia's fraud team and removed if determined to be a scam.
How Can I Spot and Avoid Rental Scams?
Below is a list of best practices on spotting and avoiding scams. Renter beware. Be vigilant in protecting your private information and review these tips:
Trulia hasno involvement in any transactions, showings, agreements, or inspections.
The easiest sign of a rental scam is when someone asks you to wire money via Western Union, Moneygram, or Prepaid Visa card. Scammers usually ask for a deposit or first months rent before you even see the property. Dont send money for whatever reason.
The owner is out of the country on a mission, job opportunity, or military service. Always meet the landlord or agent in-person and at the property. If they can't meet you there or show you the property, then it's possibly a scam. Good idea is to always have a friend or family member with you.
The listing is significantly less than nearby similar properties. Beware. If it seems too good to be true, then chances are that its a scam.
Emails from scammers are often littered with grammatical mistakes and typos. If the email is difficult to read, lengthy, or includes a sad story, then it's possibly a scam.
Research the email address and phone number of the landlord or owner on Google. You might find that someone else has already posted a report on this individual.
Don't fill out an application until you've seen the property. Some apartment communities will offer legitimate applications via a property's website, but don't submit an application with personal information until you've verified the property exists.
Never, under any circumstances, send money to anyone without securing a lease and confirming the property manager has legal right to rent the property.
What Can I do if I Fall Victim of Online Fraud?
If you believe you were a victim of fraud, please contact your local authorities, the FTC, and the IC3. Flag the listing for removal by our fraud teamif it hasn't already been removed.

Go to https://www.trulia.com/account/searches/
Sign in with your Trulia account if asked
For each Saved Search you would like to unsubscribe from, you can select Daily Update, No Update, or the Delete button.
Note: If you select the Delete button, you will no longer be able to see the results for that Saved Search on or on your mobile apps.

From the drop-down menu located in top of the right-hand corner with your screen name, select the "Notification Preferences" tab.

View ArticleMicro-deposits are two small payments that Trulia will send to your bank to verify that you've input the correct banking information and that you are the owner of that account.
It will take 1-2 days from when you manually enter your banking information for your bank to receive these payments. Zillow will send these payments directly to your bank account within that time so you'll need to check your bank statement to locate the transactions.
The payments will be two separate amounts less than $1 from ZG - Rent Payments.
After you've located both payments on your bank statement, you'll input the amounts in the verification boxes within your payment dashboard here and then click 'Verify my account'.

If you have multiple credit cards on file, change your primary payment method by clicking onSet as primaryfor the one you want.

Complete all of the fields in the window that opens and clickAdd Payment Methodto save it. If you have an outstanding balance and add a new payment method, the outstanding balance will be charged to the card you just added.
