I don't work there anymore. I actually have a job where I am getting paid better and my skills are being utilized.
Everyone is out for themselves and the kindness is fake
I realize customers are important, but so are employees.
Get education. Moving up and creating roles for people because they capped out on salary isn't a realistic way of creating structure for a company. If anything, it makes it chaotic.

The company itself has improved over the years, the cultural breakdown is in the individual branches or districts. Hire people that DO the right things; not just say what they think people want to hear
