What's the work from home policy like at TVGla?
Non-existent
What's the office vibe like at TVGla?
Dog friendly, but open air which lead to a lot of beta people vying for music and sound rights
What are your coworkers at TVGla like?
Majority of the employees were generally nice cordial people. However, managers & team leaders were put into those slots because of length and lacked the requisite skills
What interview questions does TVGla ask?
when can you start. (We didn't plan this project properly, and now that the client has changed the scope, we really need someone ...at a REASONABLE cost to us
What's the interview process like at TVGla?
Ha, phone interview seems unorganized & the in person interview using occurs with at least 3 people who seem uninterested. However, the melancholy disposition is most likely due to the fact that they were given a resume and the task of coming up with questions approximately 2 hours before the interviewee is due to come in
What part of TVGla's business is growing fastest? What part is having difficulties?
pizza Fridays... seriously they just throw things at the wall hoping something sticks. Although their banner ads services seems to weather the test of time
If you could make changes, how would you improve the culture at TVGla?
bring in outside, experienced managers and directors. Although it is nice to promote from within, the problem arises when the people being promoted has no real experience outside of this company. As a result, they usually doesn't understand how to properly deal with clients or the latest technology occurring in their verticals
What do people at TVGla think about the CEO? What do they do well and what can they improve?
personality-wise, decent person. management-wise, spur of the moment, pis in the sky kind of person. which leads to many problem as they don't have a lot of experienced mid-level managers
How's the work life balance at TVGla?
If you don't stand up to their lack of planning, there is no life/life balance.
Does TVGla have any remote positions?
they use a lot of freelancers as they don't have a steady flow on large projects
How does TVGla make decisions around promotions?
Threaten to quit and they'll think about it.. otherwise, promotions are non-existant
How's the vacation policy at TVGla?
Overall the policy is lenient, however, it does vary from department to department. If you made a written request for vacation, stick to it as the managers know that can't revoke it. They tried to implement better scheduling rules however, if you're buddy buddy with the right people you'll have no problem getting your work transferred to others for when you want to get out of town at a moments notice ( not too great for the person getting your work as they are most likely overbooked to begin with )

The company's not invested in building a dev team, just interested in closing the deal at all costs
