Executive Bio

Curt Calaway serves as Chief Financial Officer. In this capacity, he oversees the company’s Global Finance organization, including business finance, controllership, corporate development, investor relations, risk finance, strategy, sustainability, tax and treasury. He is also focused on providing strategic financial vision and leadership and on representing the company to external stakeholders, including investors, lenders and rating agencies.

Curt joined Tyson Foods in 2006 and most recently served as Chief Financial Officer of the company’s Prepared Foods business. Throughout his 18-year tenure at the company, Curt has held several leadership roles of increasing responsibility, including Senior Vice President and Treasurer; Senior Vice President, Finance and Corporate Development; Senior Vice President, Controller and Chief Accounting Officer; and Vice President, Audit and Compliance.

Prior to Tyson Foods, he held multiple auditing roles at PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP (PwC) for 11 years, including two years as an SEC consultant at the company’s national office in Florham Park, New Jersey.

Curt holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting from the Sam M. Walton College of Business at the University of Arkansas.
