Mr. Justin Whitmore has been Chief Sustainability Officer of Tyson Foods, Inc. since May 1, 2017 and also its Executive Vice President of Corporate Strategy since December 7, 2017. He also serves as a Chief Sustainability Officer and Executive Vice President of Corporate Strategy at Tyson New Ventures, LLC. Mr. Whitmore served as Senior Vice President of Corporate Strategy at Tyson Foods, Inc. until December 7, 2017. Mr. Whitmore provide leadership and direction that helps the Tyson Foods achieve its strategic intent of sustainably feeding the world with the fastest growing portfolio of protein packed brands. At McKinsey, he developed innovative solutions to address sustainability issues while considering operational complexity, consumer demand, market share growth and financial discipline. Prior to joining Tyson, Mr. Whitmore was a Consultant at McKinsey & Company, where he launched its complexity management service line, led the McKinsey Black Network efforts in the Midwest region and advised leading companies on strategy, operations and sustainability. Mr. Whitmore has held several consulting and executive positions at Strategy& (formerly Booz & Co.) and Johnson Controls. He serves on the Corporate Advisory Board at Notre Dame's Mendoza College of Business and is a Six Sigma Black Belt. He earned his bachelor's degree in business management from the University of Alabama Birmingham and his Master of Business Administration from the University of Notre Dame.
