My team cpnsists mostly of smart scientists studying interesting topics. As their editor, I learn something new every day. They accept my suggestions and/or requirements and treat me with respect. The other editors are good at doing their jobs, and are willing to trade or cover a job for each other.
The willingness to complete tasks as a team and act together to accomplish our goals.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
Energy and approach at incision and bring a better company
The sense that we are doing our best for America's farmers, ranchers and timber producers.
Our culture has radically changed with the election of President Trump and his choice of Sonny Perdue as Secretary of Agriculture. We used to pride ourselves as very family-friendly and leaders in teleworking. Sec Perdue abruptly cancelled all telework. He’s moving jobs to different locations, also.
What did you like most about the interview process?
The work sample was different than anything I've ever taken
The variety of people on the interview panel. It gave me a pretty good sense of the office culture.
What makes you most happy at work?
that I need to pay bills
Having the opportunity to share the important work we do.
The passion my co-workers have and their knowledge makes me want to be better.
