Mr. Ramzi S. Ammari has been Senior Vice President of Corporate Planning & Strategy at Universal Electronics Inc. (UEI) since January 2010. Mr. Ammari is responsible for all aspects of product development from directing product strategy through product design and development and market introduction. Mr. Ammari joined Universal Electronics in July 1997 as Project Manager responsible for new product introductions. In 2000, he became Senior Director, Product and Business Development before becoming Vice President of Product Development in 2003. Previously, Mr. Ammari worked for Mitsubishi Consumer Electronics of America, as Business Planning Manager responsible for developing next generation televisions and applications for the North American consumer electronics market. He helped launch Mitsubishi's first plasma flat-panel televisions in 1996. Mr. Ammari holds undergraduate and graduate degrees in engineering and business from the University of California, Irvine.
