Breege Farrell — Chief Investment Officer and Executive Vice President at Unum Group

Ms. Breege A. Farrell has been Chief Investment Officer and Executive Vice President of Unum Group since April 2011 and August 2013 respectively. Ms. Farrell served as Senior Vice President of Unum Group since April 2011 until August 2013. Ms. Farrell was an Equity Analyst of Banc One Capital Corporation, Research Division and UBS Investment Bank, Research Division. Ms. Farrell served as Senior Managing Director of Allstate Investments, LLC. Ms. Farrell had been responsible for credit and equity asset management groups. Ms. Farrell joined Allstate Group in 2004 as Managing Director of Fixed Income Research. Her previous experience includes both ???buy-side??? and sell-side positions covering an assortment of higher risk assets classes, including in high yield bond, bank loan, hedge fund and equity investments. Ms. Farrell began her career as an International Loan Officer at Chemical Bank (now JPMorgan Chase). She is a Member of the CFA Institute and the CFA Society of Chicago. Ms. Farrell has an M.B.A. in Management Strategy and International Finance from the Stern School of Business at New York University. She holds B.A. degree in Economics, Psychology and Spanish from Emory University.
