Mr. Jed Alpert, J.D. serves as Senior Vice President and General Manager of Upland Software, Inc. Mr. Alpert oversees Upland's Digital Engagement products. He is also responsible for translating Upland's strategy and vision into effective marketing communications. Mr. Alpert is a Co-Founder of Mobile Commons, Inc. and serves as its Chief Executive Officer and Chief Strategy Officer. Mr. Alpert serves as an Advisor of Recurring Capital Partners LP. Previously, Mr. Alpert served as the President of Sunshine Amalgamedia. At Sunshine, he developed an innovative syndication sponsorship model, commissioning top young directors to make short films for multiple distribution networks with nationally branded sponsorship. Additionally, Mr. Alpert created marketing and sponsorship programs for clients such as Justin Timberlake, Britney Spears, Pepsi and Samsung. Prior to joining Sunshine, he worked as an Attorney, focusing his practice on entertainment and media law. During his time practicing law at Rudolph and Beer and as an Associate at Paul Weiss, Mr. Alpert's clients included films such as Slingblade, Hurricane Streets, Sunday, Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas, The Cruise, Next Stop Wonderland, Three Seasons and Star Maps. He represented companies such as Open City Films, Rhino Entertainment and Sonic Net. Mr. Alpert serves as a Director of Bay Area Video Coalition, Inc. He also served on the Board of a number of film festivals and arts organizations, including Genart, The Newport Film Festival and Thread Waxing Space. Mr. Alpert has produced numerous feature films including Sunday, winner of the 1997 Sundance Film Festival Grand Jury Prize and the Waldo Salt Screenwriting Award. He holds a BA from Connecticut College and a JD from Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law.
