Provide the level of support for your staff that you expect them to provide patients. Imagine being a patient with cancer and needing treatment. Would you want the staff treating you to be over-worked, under-paid, and treated poorly by their employers? That's the US Oncology model at its best.
Getting connected to the people who work here who want to have a Community Cancer Center that is serving all the needs of Cancer patients, no just Radiation Oncology needs. We are far from competitive in our area.
Review from Operations Dept
Management needs to have more integrity. Its hard to respect a manager who has favorites and lets her favorites make the decisions. She has no backbone and its hard to respect a manager who has a PHD but has no clinical knowledge ir skills.
No appreciation on weather you ask to help or not.
More training is needed to grow.
It's not "competitive" pay when you pay employees below the bottom 25th percentile range. At least get employees on the right pay scale. US Oncology clearly hates children because the health insurance policies they offer are absurdly expensive for families and offer little to no benefit when needed.
Micro management Advancement based on friendship not work
Employees on all levels need to be included in certain decisions made in the dept.
Review from Operations Dept
The Director needs a good talking to by upper leadership. He is biased toward disabled people and feels employees should be written up if they make one mistake
It did not allow an opportunity to discuss what the company can offer me as an employee.
Review from Operations Dept
No idea... I have been here for many years. My interview back in the day was nerve racking, but now this company will hire any warm body to fill the gaps and let the rest of the nurses pick up the slack
They try to sell you. Very high turnover rate
Again, the Director makes up his own rules and discriminates against disabled employees. Makes written false statements too
Management and micro management Work load
