Because it's a state-funded position, the compensation is weak. But increased autonomy can make a big difference to overall satisfaction in light of that.
What are some of the best things about your team?
The team undergoes constant training, so it's expected that you're continuing to grow. That makes it perfectly OK to not know something at any given time as long as you're in the process of learning.
