Mr. Francisco Moreno has been President of Thermal Systems Business Group at Valeo SA since January 16, 2017. Mr. Moreno served as Chief Operating Officer at GE AVIO S.r.l. since 2009. Mr. Moreno worked for a long time in the multinational auto components company Valeo holding different positions of responsibility and top management and before that, he gained experience with responsibilities in the Bull and Nikon companies. He entered Valeo in 1989, covering positions as Quality Director, Purchasing Director, Production/Manufacturing Director, in different multi-site and multi-country activities, in France, Spain, Germany and Poland. From 1998, he was General Manager, at European and world level of different Divisions and Business Units relative to Friction Materials, Transmissions and Safety Systems. He served as Vice-President Purchasing in the Valeo Group in Paris since 2004. He was General Manager of the Electrical Systems Division Europe since 2007. Mr. Moreno graduated in Engineering-Industrial Organisation at Barcelona University in 1992, he subsequently gained a Master's Degree in Economics, MBA-EAE and Cedep INSEAD.
