Give us free food! We make minimum wage! The corporate office get Veggie Grill catering all the time.
What is the best part about your compensation package?
Benefit package is really great
it is fair based on the job performed

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
If I got paid a very decent wage and got good hours
Bonus Targets where always extrememly unreachable, it almost felt like they did it in purpose to not pay the bonus. Also no Retirement plan and very high health insurance. To get a raise i had to ask for it more then 10 times to my regional manager and once it was approved payroll will forget to upd
Tips do help but not by much. Most of the people I know juggle multiple jobs, where Veggie Grill is usually the lowest-paying one.
What are some of the best things about your team?
honest, hard working and fun to be with
Many coworkers are strong believers of the Plant Based Diet and Veganism which i enjoyed working with similar people to adopted this lifestlye. Also it was always fun sharing recipes and bringing in vegan food to try. Also i always found people who work iin the restaurant business are positive......
we work well together and are in sync on the line and front of house
Everyone is really nice and accurate in understanding complicated orders.

What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
My hiring manager is a Boss!

The positive side was the level of posivity many local customers will come in and also many first timers trying to adopt the plant based diet. Also menu was changed seasonal which made it very fun to try as a team. Lastly the free food they will give when they wanted us to try everything on the new
the food is amazing especially for lunch breaks
The negativity comes from the customers. There should be a sign that says "No Divas Will Be Served".

i went in and talked to my boss for a bit about my experience (3 years cashiering at a cafe) and got offered the job on the spot
