I think CS is asked to manage a lot and also sell a lot. I think the percentage on contract renewals and any cross-sell/up-sells should be higher. The CS team manages the entire customer relationship, but the sales and IDN teams benefit the most from it.

What's going wrong and how can it be improved?

Lack of freedom in my own work. Managers micro managing everything. More red-taping than I've ever experienced in any company. Waste like this is boring and discouraging.
