There are too many unknowns in Vlocity. As salesforce comes with a 6 MB heap size, most of it gets consumed by vlocity in build functionality leaving little space for custom code. For a simple EPC configuration backend, JSON is unnecessarily too complex. Prone to apex CPU time limit and heap error
