Mr. Ahmed Auda has been Managing Director for Middle East & North Africa (MENA) Operations at VMware, Inc. since July 25, 2016. Mr. Auda is responsible for implementing and driving VMware's transformation across the MEA, working closely with the VMware's regional teams to accelerate growth across the software-defined data centre, end-user computing and hybrid cloud market segments. With more than 20 years of experience in the IT industry, Mr. Auda stands well placed to support VMware customers. Prior to joining VMware, Mr. Auda served as General Manager for Gulf Business Machines B.S.C., in which he successfully drove exponential growth over six consecutive quarters. Prior to GBM, he extended career with IBM where he held several executive positions, last as Director of Software Group MEP for IBM Middle East and Africa in Dubai and later with several years' experience at Oracle.
